Art is Head of Research at Henderson Rowe, responsible for equity and fixed income fundamental research, private client portfolio positioning and the implementation of investment strategies. His duties as a Director include reporting to the board and shareholders; day-to-day business operations; overseeing compliance with the UK regulatory and legal regime; and financial reporting.
Art joined the firm in 2008 as an analyst with a focus on global companies. He was later promoted to Head of Research and became a member of the Investment Committee. He specialises in fundamental analysis, bottom-up stock selection and portfolio positioning. Before joining Henderson Rowe, Art was an analyst in Poland’s Ministry of State Treasury and was involved in implementing the privatisation programme, asset conversion, bankruptcy, and liquidation of SOEs.
Art completed the Bruce Greenwald’s Value Investing programme at Columbia Business School and holds an MSc in International Business from the Grenoble École de Management. He was named in 2017 as one of the PAM Top 40 under 40, recognising the industry’s rising stars. Art is a Chartered MCSI. Art values the culture of learning and improvement, the focus on long-term returns and accepting its inability to predict short-term macro trends and performance. All are appealing tenets of the firm and should lead to better client outcomes, in his view. Smart money is slow money.
