Alex is responsible for overseeing all trading-related activity for clients.
Alex started his career in the asset management industry in January 2013, when he joined JNF Capital, a high frequency trading boutique specialising in leveraged derivatives products across numerous asset classes. He joined Henderson Rowe in January 2014 and continued to advise high-net-worth clients on a variety of trading strategies. He left the firm in late 2014 to pursue further studies on the investment industry, after which he returned as an investment manager looking after discretionary client portfolios.
Alex obtained a BSc (Hons) degree in finance and investment from the University of Brighton and an MBA in finance from the University of Sussex. He holds the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment’s Level 4 Investment Advice Diploma, for which he also completed both the Securities and Derivatives specialisation modules. He also holds the Chartered Management Institute’s Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership. Alex is a CFA Level 2 candidate.
Having grown up on a farm in the South of England, Alex enjoys the relaxing attributes of country life and participates in numerous activities, from horse riding to clay pigeon shooting to fishing. He was first attracted to asset management when his interest in global equity markets grew from holding company stock in a personal investment account.
