Calvin is a highly-experienced finance professional and corporate adviser with over 20 years of experience in M&A advisory and corporate and investment banking. Previously with HSBC, he was Head of Multinationals Corporate Banking and Executive Committee member for HSBC China. In this role, he led a $150 million operating income business operating across Mainland China and managed a banking balance sheet with $8 billion of assets and liabilities. Prior to this, Calvin was a senior member of HSBC’s Global M&A Advisory business based in London, executing complex cross-border acquisitions and disposals (including UK Takeover Code deals) for major corporations as well as advising privately-owned companies on strategic options. Calvin has also worked at Rothschild and on secondment to the Strategy team of a UK-listed Industrials group.

Calvin started his professional life as an Officer in the British Army. He is a Governor of a boarding school in Surrey and was a Trustee of Combat Stress, the UK’s leading military veterans’ mental health charity.
