Henderson Rowe’s Director and Head of Operations, Ana Diaz, named among Management Today’s and Accenture’s Annual List of ’35 Women Under 35’

Over two decades, the annual listing has celebrated and spotlighted some of Britain’s most exceptional young executives.

London, 1 July 2020 – Ana Diaz, a senior executive at Henderson Rowe and Rayliant Global Advisors, was honoured this week with inclusion on Management Today’s annual list of 35 exceptional women in business, sponsored by Accenture. The annual recognition is one of Britain’s longest standing and most celebrated.

Born and raised in Mexico, Diaz studied business in China, France and Italy before graduating at the top of her Business School class with First Honours. She later emigrated to the UK on a scholarship and received a master’s degree at the University of Westminster. Combining studies with full-time employment, Diaz recently earned her status as a Chartered Member of the CFA Society. Today, Diaz is Director and Head of Operations for Henderson Rowe, a Mayfair-based private investment manager, and a senior executive at Rayliant Global Advisors, a prestigious institutional investment manager based in Hong Kong.

Diaz is a global citizen who has lived around the world and speaks three languages fluently. Her multi-cultural and multi-national experience shapes how she understands finance and the people it serves. Jason Hsu, Chairman of Henderson Rowe and Rayliant Global Advisors, notes that “Ana’s unwavering commitment to clients is at the heart of her success. The finance industry is never abstract to Ana. She is laser-focused on the connection between our work and the human beings we serve – people with families, hopes, dreams and fears. She accepts nothing short of perfection because she is conscious of the lives and livelihoods impacted by her work.”

Awards like Management Today’s “35 Women Under 35”, which unearth female role models and spotlight the contributions of Britain’s young businesswomen, continue to serve a critical function. Women remain grossly under-represented, underpaid and under-promoted in the UK, and their voices are often ignored in the media. This is particularly true in finance, a sector notorious for its lack of female and minority executives. As a Latina executive working in an industry that chronically lacks diversity, Diaz has and will continue to serve as a mentor and role model to women and minorities who aspire to advance their own careers in finance.

Today, Diaz is better positioned than ever to influence her industry and create opportunities for others. As Art Baluszynski, Henderson Rowe’s Head of Research, notes: “Honours like “35 Women Under 35” look to the future, recognizing those women who will impact their industry and future generations. By this standard, there is no person who deserves recognition more than Ana.”

He added: “I promise this is only the beginning.”
